- Falafel × 4
- Flour tortilla × 2
- 2 tbsp Tzatziki sauce
- Cucumber × 1
- Tomato × 1
- Red onion × 1
- Lemon (for juice) × 1
- 1 g Black pepper
- 5 g Fresh chives
- 15 g Mayonnaise
- 15 ml Olive oil
- 50 g Yogurt
- 2 g Salt
Method
-
Prep the Vegetables
Thinly slice the cucumber, dice the tomato, and thinly slice the red onion. Set aside so everything is ready to layer.
-
Brown the Falafels
Add a drizzle of olive oil to a frying pan over medium heat. Brown the falafels for about 7 minutes, stirring regularly so all sides turn golden and crisp.
-
Make the Yogurt Sauce
In a bowl, mix the yogurt, mayonnaise, and the juice of the lemon. Season with salt and pepper, and stir in the finely chopped chives.
-
Warm the Tortillas
Warm the flour tortillas in a dry pan over medium heat for a few seconds on each side until soft and pliable, so they do not crack when rolled.
-
Spread tzatziki sauce
Spread tzatziki sauce over each tortilla.
-
Layer on the cucumber
Layer on the cucumber, tomato, and red onion, then add the browned falafels. Drizzle generously with the yogurt sauce.
-
Roll and Serve
Fold in the sides and roll each tortilla up tightly into a wrap. Re-season to taste, slice in half, and serve.
