  1. Cook the rice

    Rinse jasmine rice, combine with water in a 1:1.5 ratio, bring to a boil, cover and simmer on low for 12 minutes. Rest off heat 10 minutes.

  2. Make the sauce

    Whisk soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and 2 tbsp water in a small bowl.

  3. Heat 1 tbsp oil

  8. Add garlic and ginger

  9. Return chicken to the pan

    Return chicken to the pan.

  10. Pour in the sauce

    Step 10: Pour in the sauce

    Pour in the sauce and toss 1 minute until glossy and thickened.

  11. Serve

    Serve over rice with toasted sesame seeds.
