- 339 g Lean sirloin steak, thinly sliced
- 3 tbsp Low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Oyster sauce
- 4 tsp Cornstarch
- 240 g Whole wheat spaghetti
- Red bell pepper × 1
- Green bell pepper × 1
- Medium red onion × 1
- 1 tbsp Rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp Hoisin sauce
- 2 tsp Sesame oil
- 1 tsp Honey
- 2 cloves Minced garlic
- 3 cm piece Minced ginger
- 3 g Black pepper
- 300 ml Water
Method

Marinate the Beef
In a bowl, combine sliced sirloin, 15g soy sauce, 15g oyster sauce, and 5g cornstarch. Toss and marinate for 15 minutes.

Bring a pot of water
Bring a pot of water to a boil.

Cook the whole wheat spaghetti
Cook the whole wheat spaghetti according to package instructions.

Drain and set aside
Drain the spaghetti and set aside.

Heat a large nonstick skillet
Heat a large nonstick skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add marinated beef and sear
Add marinated beef and sear for 2-3 minutes until browned.

Remove from pan and set
Remove from pan and set aside.

Stir-Fry the Veggies
In the same pan, add bell peppers and onions. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until just tender-crisp.

Mix the sauce
In a bowl, mix 30g soy sauce, 15g oyster sauce, rice vinegar, hoisin, black pepper, sesame oil, honey, garlic, and ginger. Add water.

Stir in the slurry
In a separate small bowl, mix 1 tsp cornstarch with 2 tbsp cold water to make a slurry, then stir it into the sauce.

Add cooked noodles and beef
Add cooked noodles and beef back to the pan with veggies.

Pour in sauce and toss
Pour in sauce and toss everything to coat.

Stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes
Stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens and everything is glossy and hot.

Divide among bowls, top with extra black pepper if desired, and enjoy hot.
