- Baguette × 1
- 4 cloves Garlic
- 80 g Butter
- 2 tbsp Parsley (fresh)
Method
-
Prep & Preheat
Preheat the oven to 240°C. Soften the butter in the microwave for 10 seconds — it should be easy to spread but not melted.
-
Chop Parsley
Pull the leaves off the parsley stems and finely chop. Chop fine enough that the parsley disappears into the garlic butter for an even green flecking.
-
Garlic Butter
In a small bowl, mix together the butter, parsley and garlic (chopped or grated).
-
Prep Bread
Cut the baguette in half lengthwise. If you can't find baguette, any crusty bread will work!
-
Bake
Place the baguette on a baking sheet and spread the butter mixture over the two bread halves. Put the two halves back together and bake at 240°C for 8 minutes until the butter has melted in and the crust is crisp.
-
Serve
Take the bread out of the oven and cut into slices. It's ready to eat!
